ViP Creation Chart[]
ViP Vampires are typically powerful with extra XP invested into backgrounds, disciplines and other stats. The following is the chart used in making them. These extra XP are considered "pre-spent" meaning that players don't get to buy new stuff without HST approval until the character has been played long enough to pay for what they've already been given. ((Non-ViP vampires use the Generation/Age chart below and spend background/freebies on both Gen + Age for extra disciplines))

Starting Disciplines[]
Because the chronicle has only one clan of vampire and much of the "splat book" mentality has been cut away, vampires can start with -any combination- of the Eight Basic Disciplines. The total number of starting disciplines are broken down by generation and age which are purchased with background points. Newly created vampires have no free disciplines unless they already had disciplines as a ghoul- they keep those.
Example: A new character who has 3 dots of generation + 3 dots of age gets 6 starting disciplines but no single discipline can be taken at higher than a four. They can buy with FP/XP up to 20 dots of disciplines but no single discipline at higher than a four. A character that is 8th generation but only 101 years old gets 5 starting disciplines and is limited a max of 15 disciplines with only 3 dots max in a specific discipline. Likewise, a character that is 12th generation but 500 years old is still limited to 4 starting disciplines with a 3 dot maximum. Vampires being transferred over from another room will need disciplines modified to fit within the house rules. Only the 8 Basic Disciplines are available in the chronicle but no one is limited to the traditional three for Clan Ventrue at creation.
