Metahuman Merits for Humans[]

Metahuman characters get one of following merits for "free" and can take up to 7 other applicable merits:

  • Fae Blood (4) {required for Kinain}
  • Faerie Affinity (3-5) {lowers banality by 1-2}
  • Ghoul (4) {required for Ghouls}
  • Shapechanger Kin (4) {required for kinfolk}


Metahuman Merits for Supernaturals[]

  • Changelings must pay 4 freebie points to be kinfolk but they can take 7 other merits. They cannot be ghouled at creation: it is catastrophic rarity when it happens and this is reserved for VIPs. For story purposes therefore Changelings are considered "normally" immune to being vampirically blood-bonded/ghouled.


  • Vampires spend 4 freebie points to be kinain or kinfolk or 3/5 freebie points to lower their banality with faerie affinity; they can take 7 other merits. (Normal vampiric banality in CC is 6 -1 for every 200 years since they were Embraced)


  • Shifters must spend 4 freebie points to be kinain or 3/5 lower their banality with faerie affinity but they can take 7 other merits. They cannot be ghouled at creation: it is a catastropic rarity when it happens and this is reserved for VIPs. For story purposes therefore Shifters are considered "normally" immune to being vampirically blood-bonded/ghouled. (Normal Garou banality in CC is 6)
