Background InformationEdit

Caerleon is the heart of the Caerleon Chronicles. While it is currently "just" a suburban village of Newport and most of the caerns, freeholds and other sites of interest are in the surrounding area but there is a reason its used as the name of the setting itself. Lord Alfred Tennyson wrote the Idylls of the King here; its associations with the Arthurian mythos go deep. It has significant archaelogical and metaphyical significance. Roughly 8,700 people live inside the town and easily 10% of them are some form of metahuman or outright supernatural. Ghosts and other forms of spirits abound. Most people know more than they say. Everyone has secrets and secret associations in Caerleon within the game chronicle.
